The El Dorado's bring a contemporary style to the traditional sound of the 1960's instrumental music. The fun and the energy of that era are brought to life with the sophistication of today. With dynamic drumbeats, thundering bass and rippin' reverb guitars, you can't help but feel like you're at the beach.

San Francisco's newest surf / rock band We are Mark Scardello (Guitar) and Stuart Brandt (drums) from the Aquamarines, Scott Culbertson ( Guitar ) and Tim Corbett (Bass).

                                 The Legend of El Dorado

The legend began in the 1530s, in the Andes, where conquistador Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada first found the Muisca, a nation in the modern day  Colombia, in 1537.

The story of the Muisca rituals was brought to Quito by Sebastian de Belalcazar’s men; mixed with other rumors, there arose the legend of 'El Dorado' (meaning the Golden Man rather than a place

Imagined as a place, El Dorado became a kingdom,  Deluded by a similar legend,  Gonzalo Pizarro would depart from Quito  in a famous and disastrous expedition towards the Amazon Basin; as a result of this, however, Orellana became the first person to navigate the Fender Guitar!!!
